Seamless & Personal at Kettle Ridge: Alex & Al

by Ember Event Management – Wedding Planner in Rochester, NY

When Alex chose Kettle Ridge Farm for the wedding, she knew it was the perfect space—open fields, an outdoor ceremony site, and the most perfect backdrop for a fall wedding. But with much of the day taking place outdoors and over 200 guests invited, they quickly realized the number of moving parts involved: rentals, family-style dining, tenting, and multiple vendors to manage.

They reached out to Ember for partial planning support, and together we crafted a plan that helped bring the whole vision to life. We talked through every element of the day, from vendors, to floor plans to flow, giving them the clarity and confidence that the day would be as they imagined!

“Ember was a lifesaver during my daughter’s wedding. They handled everything from coordinating with vendors to overseeing the rehearsal. Ember made the whole process so much easier for us.”

On the day-of, Ember managed every detail: sourcing the centerpiece florals, setting up all the décor, and handling the signage. We oversaw the vendors, stayed in close communication with the DJ and photographer (with so much property, there was a lot going on), and worked closely with the venue staff to ensure the timeline flowed perfectly. The 200+ person, family-style dinner was served right on time, leaving plenty of room in the evening for dancing.

Alex and Al ended the night with a sparkler send-off—which is always such a fun moment to coordinate. Talk about a rush to get everyone lined up, sparklers lit, and that perfect photo captured before they burn out. But SO worth it!!

Alex and Al’s wedding was full of heart, family, and proof that partial planning can bring clarity and calm to even the most complex of wedding days.
