Having been enamored with weddings for as long as she can remember, Katie was delighted to become involved with managing weddings in Chicago in 2021. With a years-long background in dance, Katie approaches weddings as both production and performance, finding joy in every step of the process. Her main goal is to alleviate stress by focusing on each couple’s individual needs, allowing them to be fully present during their once-in-a-lifetime moment. As a former Ember bride, Katie is uniquely qualified to understand both the challenges that accompany planning a wedding and the benefits of working with Ember Events Management to ensure a flawless day.

Amanda began her career in the wedding industry and has spent her entire adult working life in hospitality. After managing wedding venues and working alongside other planners, she launched Ember to bring her own thoughtful, hands-on approach to wedding planning. She leads with kindness and genuine excitement for each couple while carefully managing every detail behind the scenes. From the planning process through the wedding day itself, she ensures each celebration unfolds seamlessly and reflects exactly what her couples are picturing—allowing them to be fully present and enjoy every moment with their loved ones. Coming from a family that prioritizes togetherness and celebration, creating meaningful, unforgettable experiences is simply part of who she is.
