Nikki & Danny’s Modern Chic Wedding at Arbor Midtown

Nikki and Danny’s wedding at Arbor Midtown was the perfect mix of modern elegance and intentional design. Since both of their families were spread across the country, Rochester ended up being the ideal meeting point for their wedding weekend. In fact, they booked Arbor Midtown before ever seeing it in person—and it ended up being the perfect fit for their vision.

As an out-of-state couple, they booked Ember Event Management for partial planning support early in the process to help navigate local vendors and logistics. And since Nikki has experience working events herself, every detail of the wedding was incredibly thoughtful and well planned from start to finish.

Their vision was modern, chic, and elevated, while still making sure their intimate guest list felt comfortable within Arbor Midtown’s grand space. One of the biggest focuses throughout planning was photography, so we worked closely together to create a detailed wedding timeline and organized shot lists to ensure every important moment and detail was captured seamlessly throughout the day.

The reception design was one of the standout elements of the wedding. Nikki wanted the tables to feel full, layered, and luxurious, so another large part of the planning process involved sourcing rentals and carefully planning quantities to create the right balance within the space.

Saint Rose Florals absolutely nailed Nikki’s white rose vision, creating a clean and romantic design that perfectly complemented Arbor Midtown’s modern aesthetic. Simple Celebrations provided the majority of the candles and rentals, which added so much warmth and depth to the room.

One of the most meaningful details from the day was the ceremony backdrop, which was built by Nikki’s dad. It fit the venue so perfectly that it truly looked like it was made for the space.

Throughout the evening, our team helped venue staff with a full room flip, repurposing decor and florals while also assisting the photographer with family photo coordination and timeline management behind the scenes.

Once the formalities wrapped up, the energy of the night completely shifted into an incredible party. Nikki changed into a reception dress, the dance floor opened up, and Marquee kept the energy going all night long. Since nearly every guest had traveled in for the wedding, you could truly feel how excited everyone was to celebrate together.

The night ended with late-night champagne pours, cake cutting photos, and a packed dance floor—while Nikki and Danny soaked in every moment together.

Nikki and Danny’s wedding was elegant, intentional, and so much fun from beginning to end. It was such an honor helping bring their vision to life and creating a wedding weekend that felt so reflective of them as a couple.
